Clay has a lifetime of experience as an electrician involving both land based and marine electrical systems. He’s an American Boat & Yacht Council “ABYC” Certified Technician inclusive of Marine Electrical & Marine Systems. https://abycinc.org/member/claylindsey
Clay is also a California licensed Electrical Contractor. His formal education applied to his vast technical skills provide for the insight that is required of today’s Marine Surveyor. Clay has the experience required for managing and coordinating various repairs and system upgrades involving yachts & small craft. ABBRA.org
Clay’s interest is all things marine but, his passion lies in the classic wood sportfishing yachts. Clay has been fishing and cruising the waters of Southern California for over 35-years. Catalina Island is by far his favorite for its diversity especially the waters of the West End. We received our Accreditation of Master Marine Surveyor from Navtech-USSA. Navtech is the oldest Marine Surveyor training organization in North America. Navtech’s training is based on US Coast Guard Inspection Standards. The U.S.Coast Guard adopted Navtech USSA Surveyor practices for its own inspection standards. www.navsurvey.com
